How we work at Barcelona Export

We provide outsourced commercial export services so that SMEs can sell their products in international markets.

The start of any collaborative relationship begins with a meeting that helps us to get to know each other, to align expectations and needs and to determine the markets we are going to prospect together, the sectors, the marketing channel and the products to be promoted, as they do not necessarily have to be all of our clients’ product range. When exporting, it is advisable to select the products that allow us to achieve a strategic and differential positioning.

Our different services aim to obtain end clients directly, so that companies have direct market information without having to go through the filters of intermediaries. These key accounts will be managed directly by the company itself, once we finish the project. Thanks to the budgets (and orders, if possible) we will evaluate the price positioning of each of the components and their competition. We will know, thanks to the continuous work over several months, the sector and its main actors, the reference fairs, the usual prices and the competition that we can find in each sector.

8. We maintain daily communication via telephone or e-mail with our clients, to inform them of the evolution of their export project.

How we work – Profile defined and approved between the client and Barcelona Export

This is the key point of the project and its starting point. The definition of a good profile is key to the success of any export project. And by mutual agreement it will be signed by both parties as a sign of approval. Barcelona Export, as an export services consultancy, is a facilitator of contacts and under no circumstances can it guarantee the success of commercial operations with the contacts it presents, as these will be strongly influenced by parameters beyond its control, such as: price, quality, reactivity, flexibility and feeling between interlocutors.

We must be very clear about the type of salesperson we want to target, for several reasons:
To jointly define the type of leads we are looking for during x months > To narrow down and target the searches in order to be more effective > To acquire a written commitment from both parties to remind us of the general lines of work
